Hi there, it’s now the eleventh month of the year, which means we’ve done the whole “fall back” daylight savings thing. We’ve also got both the Taurid and Leonid meteor showers coming up mid-month and you may be able to use your binoculars to view a couple of comets.
Our national day of giving thanks is just around the corner. I love November because it somehow feels more low key than October and December.
After the very fun and happening CraftNight pumpkin carving Halloween blow-out, I’ve decided that tonight, I’m going to bring you some crafty stuff from the vault that caters to my whim. I’m just going to casually saunter around and grab supplies, and whatever I grab will be tonight’s project.
After thirteen years of doing CraftNight, you might imagine that the headquarters for CraftNight are overflowing with eleventy-million crafty bits, and you would be absolutely right.
I have yarn hanging from the rafters, googly eyes in every cabinet, and pools of paint spilling down the stairs. I also suffer from a serious case of glitter lung. But it’s totally worth it.
Outside is chilly with big clouds in the sky, there’s wind and promise of a bit of rain maybe? This is a great time to come inside and relax with us. We’ll make it nice and cozy in the crafting room, a place to convene with friends, laugh, sip cocktails, and craft.

November 25th: NO CRAFTS!!! It’s Akbar’s mega-dance-party called PIE where you can sweat your arse off before ingesting copious amounts of mashed potatoes the next day! Such a delicious night, come on in and give thanks to all the hotties dancing with you.
December 16th: Wednesday • Ye Olde CrafteNighte Crafte Faire • 7pm to 12:30pm (or later) Pick out goods and sundries from local Los Angeles vendors at our Pop Up holiday faire! CraftNight going strong, lots of surprise treats and fun waiting for you!
