Our LAST CraftNight of November is a cornucopia of crafting, drinking, dancing and causing an autumn ruckus we’ll remember into winter and spring. Pluckin’ and strummin’ and callin’ and swingin’ will be the likes of Triple Chicken Foot and friends.
That’s right: ACTUAL musicians crammed into the dance floor space, you and people you know and people you meet having unbridled joy careening and laughing while learning/doing the Virginia Reel and other Square Dancing favorites.
Our Craft will be the predominant age-old seasonal classic: Hand Turkeys. Bring your friends and shake your tail feathers!
Did you ever make a hand turkey in school? If you haven’t made one, then we’ve got to get you in here for this rite of passage. If you’ve made plenty, our philosophy is that you can NEVER make enough hand turkeys.
Next week, CraftNight will take a break, Akbar will be hosting “PIE” a sweet and sassy helping of booty-shakin’ music, slices of actual pie and all the partying you can handle before you have to go be respectable the next day at the Thanksgiving table.
