It’s the perfect little gift to make and give to a friend, put a little treat inside! Or: Keep for yourself! Put your ring in it, or store your earrings, or keep it full of orange TicTacs for when you want to impress guests. Guests are almost ALWAYS impressed by orange TicTacs, especially in abundance.
What a thrill to see you again, in a new year, full of possibilities and beginnings. Remember that, while it is a new year, best not to get TOO sensible in hitting all those targets of practicality. Spontaneity, curiosity, and being kind are often eschewed as being kind of “not sensible” in our world of planned and expected protocol. In other words, make the phone call, say yes to the unplanned coffee with a friend, walk/ride/drive/fly home a different route, consider what lies behind hesitation, and strive to trust some of those impulses you have.
