It’s the LAST CraftNight of November, next week, CraftNight has the night off, and you can come to the bar and DANCE until you’ve lost 10 lbs so that you can go gorge yourself on turkey and feel free and easy about your vivacious waist.

This means, if you want November to go out in crafty style, a pinecone turkey might just be quite the conversation piece at the table this year. The charm of a garden variety pinecone that has been anthropomorphized into one of America’s most popular birds is a great way to get to know people. You could make one of these and put it on a box that holds a pie.

Or you could make a pinecone turkey and stare at it for way to long, developing strange feelings about pine trees, holidays, large meals, canned cranberry sauce, gravy boats, football, inflatable cartoon characters, and relatives that you STILL haven’t figured out whether you like or not after all these years.

However it all turns out, your pinecone turkey will have your back. The two of you can take on anything together.

It’s B.Y.O.P. tonight, and by “P” I mean PUMPKIN!

If you arrive without a pumpkin, I’ll have an auxiliary craft for you to do, but for the rest of you: Bring your pumpkin over here, I’ll have tarps, implements of destruction, bowls for dropping guts, bags for saving seeds (in case you want to roast some) and candles to light them and gaze at your new creation!

But the one thing I will NOT have… is pumpkins. You have to B.Y.O.P. okay? VONS is just around the corner, find an orange squash, purchase it and bring it on over for a carving good time!

Whatever you do, don’t turn out the lights or hang out with this ghost door hanger alone! Sit against a wall if you must be near it, you don’t want someone (or something) sneaking up on you!

This festive door hanger kit let’s people know that you are totally enamored with pumpkins, bats, ghosts, the color orange, the color purple, the word “BOO!” and all the treats and trappings of the Halloween season. It’s actually super adorable, it’s not going to keep anyone awake at night, or terrify anyone at all, unless they have a phobia of self-adhesive foam pieces, or an allergy to googly eyes.
