CraftNight is crafts in a bar, every week!
It started in 2001 at Mr. T’s Bar in Highland Park, CA. and then CraftNight moved around for a year or two, and finally settled at Akbar, the neighborbood oasis of Silverlake. CraftNight is run by me, Julianna Parr, “Craft Captain JP” as I’m called.
CraftNight costs $2, has a different theme/craft every week, and all crafting supplies are there for you to use, no need to bring anything. You can totally bring your own project to the bar, and you can also donate supplies to CraftNight, if you think CraftNight can use them!
We usually run from 9pm until 12-ish, but it’s been known to go overtime into the funzone, so if you’re nearby, pop in to see if we’re still crafting! The worst thing that can happen is we won’t be crafting, and you’ll get a tasty $4 cosmo (Wednesday night special) from the bar.
